WHAT MAKES THIS VERSION SO SPECIAL?

This heartfelt story by Louisa May Alcott was declaired an instant "classic" upon its' publication in 1868. Our charming stage adaptation is unique in two singular ways. The first is in the narration supplied by the actors and woven throughout the play. It allows the actors to break the fourth wall and speak directly to the audience. In the original production, audiece members were used as characters and groups of people were invited to step on stage to watch the play-within-a-play that the March sisters perform.

The play-within-a-play is the other unique factor, showcasing the sisters' vocal and acting talent (and sometime the notable and comic lack thereof).
